Colt learned how to button/unbutton his collared shirts and has informed me that, "NOW I CAN DO EVERYTHING BY MYSELF!! Except, maybe, climb the ladder to the attic." (oh, really? that is a random thing) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colt came running into the bathroom saying, "MOMMY! I need to tell you a secret!!" Then he stubbed his toe and say. "ow ow ow ow! Wait, Mom, that was NOT the secret that I wanted to tell you." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colt saw a picture of girl about my age and said, "Mom, she was pretty. Even prettier than you." Should I take that as a compliment???

Kylie was playing near our fireplace this morning.  Even though there was no flame, we teach her not to get near it anyways.  Colt said, "Kylie, don't touch! I don't want you to get burned! It would take A WHOLE DAY to teach you to stop, drop, and roll!"

This is a friend of ours and Colt has come to love and sing this song - hahaha - in fact, he was quite upset that we didn't sing this song Sunday at church.

Colt was eating popcorn beside me, and I heard him crunching something.  So, I asked if he was eating the "kernels?" He said, "No, but I ate a "cranel."

We watched Toy Story 2 and started talking about going to college and moving out of Mommy and Daddy's house when this conversation started, "Mama, who am I going to marry when I grow up?  I wish I were a girl then I could marry Eddie. . ." (our 400 pound black friend) - oh my.  What do I say to that?  It made me laugh out loud.

"Momma, why is the word 'sandwich' at the end of 'peanut butter and jelly sandwich?'" That's just what it's called Colt :) "Momma, did Adam and Eve name it that?"

I was clipping Colt's fingernails tonight when he told me one of them 'FEELS like it LOOKS funny." Interesting concept Colt. He also proceeded to tell me that the fingernail clippers were a "great invention!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ David and I were laying with Colt in his twin-size bunk bed tonight when Colt decided it was a little "uncomfortable." He reminded David that "Mommy is pregnant and doesn't need to be squished" :) Sweet boy.

I was pushing Colt and Kylie to the park in the double jogger. I'm adventurous enough to push and jog on the flat parts at this point in my pregnancy. Colt surprised me and made me stop to laugh when he turned around and said, "good exercising Mommmy!" What a good little encourager.

David was tickling Kylie and she was getting a little irritated at him. So, Colt said, "Dad you shouldn't FAROKE her!" I have been telling Colt not to "provoke" his sister :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Colt just asked me if we could watch "Snow Wipe" sometime. . .
