I was pushing Colt and Kylie to the park in the double jogger. I'm adventurous enough to push and jog on the flat parts at this point in my pregnancy. Colt surprised me and made me stop to laugh when he turned around and said, "good exercising Mommmy!" What a good little encourager.

David was tickling Kylie and she was getting a little irritated at him. So, Colt said, "Dad you shouldn't FAROKE her!" I have been telling Colt not to "provoke" his sister :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Colt just asked me if we could watch "Snow Wipe" sometime. . .

When I came home from work the other night I was greeted by a sweet little boy's voice saying, "Is that my sweetie, precious Mommy?!" He's been carrying on like this recently. Pretty cute :) ----------------------------------------------------------------- We went to a birthday party yesterday and Colt was excited about eating some cake. It made me laugh when he asked if "they had fired the cake yet?" (lit the candles)

Colt keeps throwing us off by saying things about "laying babies" instead of "having babies" like we are used to. Examples: "Mommy, who laid you? Who laid Nana and Gramps? Why can't you lay the baby at the lake next week on vacation?" We are working on terminology.

We went out to eat Monday, and the restaurant was virtually quiet. . . except for Colt. He spotted a lady with poofy bleach blonde hair and said (very loudly), "Look Mom! She looks like a lion!!" (and even repeated it a time or two until I acknowledged). Then, a little later a tall lady dressed in red and white walked by. Colt quickly stood up and pointed at her saying, "Look! She looks like Santa!" This was a first. Though David and I were embarrassed we couldn't help but laugh about it a little. Never.A.Dull.Moment.

Colt has been on a roll the last 2 days. . . (Driving him from Grandma and Grandpa's) "Mom, are we in another country yet?" No, we didn't leave the country. We are in a different STATE. "OH! Well I want to go to NEW YORK! NEW YORK!" Ok, and how do you know anything about New York anyways?? --------------------------------------------------------------- Yes, it's been lingering around 105-110 degrees. Colt had a lot of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's swimming pool last week and informed me that we need to "dig a hole in our yard, POUR CEMENT, and fill it with water!" I asked him how he knew to pour cement? He said, "that's just what builders do!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- "Mom, this next baby is going to be a boy because it is a PATTERN. Boy - Girl - Boy - Girl." Guess we better get on the ball if we are having at least 4 according to Colt. ----------------------------------------------------------------- "When I grow up I'm going to be a race car driver, policeman, fireman, mailman, and builder." How are you going to be all of those things Colt? "I'm going to do them ONE AT A TIME of course." Of course. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Admiring the happy meal toy display at "Old McDonalds" - "Mom, how did they CREATE this? Will you ask them?" ------------------------------------------------------------------

When I left Colt to take his nap I told him I was going to do "my chores" (i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry).  He said, "I have chores too! Like picking you flowers and sleeping and stuff." hahaha
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Later, when he woke up from his nap, he came downstairs and said, "Mom, so are you working hard down here?"
